Vancouver, BC, August 16, 2022 — Smile Innovations Group (Smile) has announced the acquisition of Ultima Dental Laboratories Ltd. (Ultima) to its growing portfolio of dental labs. Ultima, a Burnaby, BC based dental laboratory.

The acquisition for Smile represents a continued expansion on a unified front in the lower mainland dental space. Westley Chow, RDT, Ultima’s owner and founder, will continue his career in prosthetics alongside the Shanto team.

The Ultima team will join Shanto’s Vancouver location and have access to its state-of-the-art full-service dental lab and the latest CAD/CAM technology. Ultima’s team will bring additional skill and talent to Shanto’s services on the local market.

Ultima has served dentists and patients from Vancouver Island to the Metro Vancouver and lower mainland region for over 30 years. They are known for their high-quality dental restorations. Ultima has made great strides in its specialized work over the years.
